Your smile is infectious.
I swoop you up and with a hug and a kiss we begin our day. You drink your bottle eagerly, gulping it down as if it might disappear. My same fear out of sight in a kitchen cupboard full of formula.
You wear dinosaur dungarees. I wear a scarf wrapped tight around my mouth. I always listen to the news when we take our daily constitutional. The dose goes down easier with a spoonful of sunny skies.
You stretch out your hand to a passing butterfly. I brave the world so you may see its beauty.

I love this Niamh. So breezy and so precious. Just like motherhood.
